Mel Mellors Lecture

On Monday myself and a couple of freinds from the Southern Sorcerers visited The Down Town Magic Club in Ashford to see a magic lecture by Mel Mellers.  Mel works all over the world and you can see why when you watch him perform – he is a very funny magician. Most of his magic consists of well known effects, but they are presented in his own unique style.  It was a really enjoyable evening.

Busy Day at School Fair

I had a really good day at Ellington Infants School in Ramsgate helping with their Summer Fair on Saturday (12th July).  I was making balloon animals to help raise some school funds and during the 3 hour event I think I made over 100 balloon models.  The sun shone and it looked like all the stalls did really well.

Ellington School Summer Fair

This coming Saturday (12th July) I will once again be making balloon models for the summer fair at Ellington Infants School in Ramsgate to help raise money for school funds.  Hopefully the rain will have gone away by then.

Time for a Blog

I have decided it’s about time I gave this blogging thing a try.  I plan to use this section of the site as a place to share magic related news, ideas and web sites with anyone who may be interested.  I hope you find it interesting.

To start with here is a site I really like.  Mighty Optical Illusions is a website dedicated to optical illusions, magic tricks and puzzles.  The site is updated regularly and some great illusions on it.
