About
I started performing magic over 25 years ago. I met up with a magician on holiday (a fantastic children’s entertainer by the name of Chris Davison) who taught me a few simple magic tricks. From then on I was hooked on magic. I read and watched everything I could on the subject and started to put together my own act.
I won a few competitions, and performed lots of shows in the my local area. My main interest is in close-up magic but I also do stage and children’s shows.
I stopped performing big shows for a while when I started work, as a computer programmer, but kept my interest in magic going during this time, and in the last few years have had the opportunities to start performing again more regularly.
For a number of years I was a member of the world famous Magic Circle and I am currently a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Southern Sorcerers (a local group of magicians from the based in and around the Thanet area).
Although I am not a full-time magician I try to present shows that are professional, entertaining and suitable for all the family with strong magical effects that will amaze and amuze.  He mostly performs in Thanet (Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate, etc) and the surrounding towns.
I live in Ramsgate, Kent and I have 2 children, Emily and Matthew and a long suffering wife, Jen, who kindly puts up with the many hours of practice that my hobby requires.
