Loki Joins the Inner Circle

LokiCongatulations to Loki who has been a member of the Magic Circle for many years, but has now been promoted to a Member of the Inner Magic Circle (MIMC).

Membership to the Inner Circle is only given based on an advanced examination, through known performing ability or through services to magic and so this shows the level of recognition given to Loki’s work.

Loki has just returned from the Middle East where he was performing magic as part of the launch of a new credit card for HSBC.

More Chances to See the Southern Sorcerers

If you want the chance to see either Allan or Mitch during December they are booked for close-up magic at Dover Town Hall on 21st/22nd December and at the Captain Digby in Broadstairs on New Years Eve.

Allan will also be doing close-up magic and balloon modelling at the Mayors Dinner in Deal on the 8 December.

A New Look for Zaffree

Reports of a large air balloon crashing into Airgon’s garden recently have been denied. Further investigations revealed that it was simple The Great Zaffree trying on his new costume. Weeks of effort by Shelley Lycett and her team of elves, and several lorry loads of material were required to produce this magnificent outfit.

When Zaffree is not using it for his shows, the suit can be hired out as a medium sized family tent or a inflated to become a small bouncy castle.

Christmas Cracker Variety Show

Colin On StageColin will be appearing in a variety show at the Granville Theatre in Ramsgate on Friday 15th December 2006. Tickets are available from the Granville Theatre box office or from Ralph Hoult at the Royal Harbour Studios in King Street, Ramsgate.

The show starts at 7:00pm and tickets are £5 for adults and £3.50 for children.  The show is free to senior citizens from Ramsgate.

Portsmouth 2006

Every year a magical gathering is held in Portsmouth and most of the Southern Sorcerers attend, hoping to learn a few new tricks, pick up a few bargains and meet up with other magicians.  Here are a few photos of this years event.
